David L. Hamilton’s award winning work as a Writer, Composer, Producer and Director has encompassed feature films, network primetime series and specials, HBO and SHOWTIME primetime, PBS series and specials, syndicated TV comedy specials, IMAX films, children’s films and acclaimed theatrical release documentaries.

His individual and project honors have included numerous international film and television awards, including a Prime-time Emmy Nomination for Best Underscore for a Primetime Dramatic Television Series, an Academy Award Nomination, the Humanitas award for Best Television Mini-Series, a 1998 EMMY, four CINE Golden Eagles, earlier Academy Award nominations, a Los Angeles area Emmy for Best Original Music and various national and local EMMYs. 

Prior to his work in television and film, Mr. Hamilton was a founding member of the ABC Dunhill/CBS Records recording group, Pavlov’s Dog, with a Platinum and several Gold Records to his credit. He recently produced and performed in a Pavlov’s Dog reunion concert for the     Make a Wish Foundation    , which was broadcast live worldwide by Microsoft and brought in over $350,000 for the charity.
