Dan Zadra is a nationally recognized writer, publisher, strategic communications and creativity consultant. He is the founder of Compendium Inc, one of the nation’s foremost designers of inspirational books, gifts and greeting cards. Founded in 1985, Compendium was recently recognized as one of Inc Magazine’s fastest-growing companies.

Over the past 35 years Dan has served as a strategic communications, creativity or publishing consultant for some of the top companies and brands in the nation, including Nordstrom, Alaska Airlines, Starbucks, Boeing Aerospace, MicroSoft, Westin Hotels, Restaurants Unlimited, Sun Microsystems, American Greetings, Target Stores, LensCrafters, Union Bank of California, The Gap and others.

He has written a steady stream of award-winning books, including several current best-sellers.  Dan is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Communications. He remains a member of Compendium’s Board of Directors, but in 2012 he retired to co-found Trust Your Crazy Ideas with lifelong friend and colleague Tom Horton.
